Episode 3 Plot

Episode 3 focuses on the Citadel’s past. In the promo clip, Rick tells Morty their clones became “biotrash.” They enter a wasteland where versions of themselves walk around.

Morty asks about the Citadel destruction. Rick says the portal reset returned everyone to their original reality. He calls the Citadel a factory for extra bodies.

The episode hints that some characters want to rebuild the Citadel. This might introduce a new villain. It adds to the show’s larger story.
